Refunds for failed generations
If a generation fails, its credits come back automatically. Here's how refunds work for every tool.
Updated September 25, 2026
You never pay for a result you didn't get. When a generation fails, its full cost is returned to the account that paid for it — automatically, and exactly once.
How it works
- Single generations (images, video, voice, music…): a failed or stuck job is refunded in full. If a provider fails, we first retry once on a backup provider at no extra cost.
- Two-step jobs (for example a keyframe followed by a video): if any step fails, the whole chain is refunded.
- Clips: each clip that fails is refunded. Reframing is reserved for the maximum up front, and any unused part is returned after analysis.
- Dub: each target language that fails is refunded.
- Podcast, Autopilot and Workflow Canvas: every step is billed like a normal generation, so failed steps are refunded individually. Autopilot also retries failed shots automatically.
- Style training and voice cloning: refunded if training or cloning fails.
In a team workspace, refunds go back to the workspace owner, who paid for the job.
What isn't refunded
- Results that finished successfully but that you don't like — try a different prompt, model or seed.
- Requests blocked by safety filters because of the prompt or uploaded content (see the content policy).
